Designers are always trying to create a product that would be easy to use. Do you know anyone who takes the purpose from objects, steals everything that is fundamental and leaves objects hanging in the air, functionless? If not, this article will inform you.

Designer Katerina kamprani lives and works in Athens. She made her series of paintings “Uncomfortable”, where she has made daily objects absolutely useless. There is nothing in these objects that you can take home and wear. There is a rubber boot, which will leave your feet soaking wet in case of rain, watering can which is useless for watering and a fork which you would trade for chopsticks to eat rice. Heavy concrete umbrella, which you can not even hold in your hands, a chair which has a bumpy surface so that you can not even sit on it and many other objects with similar concept. Katarinam did not make our lives easier to render, on the contrary, her only concern is creating problems by switching some details.

Should we be concerned? Let’s say that this is anarchy!  In a world where everything we have to use everything rationall, someone destroys things that have been already created and if we follow this concern, we will realize that if she wants to, Katerina will destroy us as well, just the same way she did to the objects. But let’s face it, specifically these odd subjects and events make life interesting.
