The world is full of bad tattoos and they are being hidden under the clothes, but there are artists who have turned their works into art and their creations on the body are much more expensive than other artists’ works on canvas.
Amanda Vachob has artist diploma. After finishing education, the girl did not know what direction to work in, but when she became interested in tattooing and put her works on bodies rather than canvas, she realized that she had found herself. “I just became dependent on tattooes, I could work non-stop” – she says. Her works are easy to distinguish from others: light touch and watercolor paint effect of the compositions. Sharp, vibrant colors and free drawing manner, which makes the whole work airy. These are not just tattoos, but works of art, which makes the owner unique.
“The most challenging thing has been to change the way people think of tattooing,” she says. “There’s so much that can be done on and off skin.”
The artist has a pretty impressive portfolio of her paintings on canvas, from 2004 to the present time, and her works have been presented at numerous galleries. Creativity of Vachobi has even gone beyond the borders and her compositions on different types of fruit can be found here.
Amanda Vachobi is based in New York, Brooklyn. Her works already have plenty of “owners”. These abstract forms and unique technique of performance do not leave anyone indifferent, neither tattoo lovers, nor those who are critical
